this dude is really cute but personally i wouldnt be too happy if someone took my picture without my consent and put it on the internet, where it’s popularity quickly escalated. it’s not that you didn’t necessarily mean any harm, but there are others who do, and others who will objectify him, say cruel things about him, or just be creepy towards him, just because he’s a cute space guy.

This is probably because I grew up watching Star Trek, but I really want there to be a united Earth government before we start colonizing space. There’s a lot of nationalist and religious baggage we have to get over before that could happen, though.
